We hope this message finds you all in good spirits. As we wrap up an exciting and eventful past weekend of tournaments that concluded our summer season, we wanted to take a moment to share the success and development of our teams.
🎄 10U and 12U CLCF Xmas in July 🎄
It was the last tournament of the season for all our teams, and they truly gave it their all. Our 10U and 12U teams participated in the CLCF Xmas in July tournament, and despite some unfortunate challenges with scheduling, they persevered and displayed great determination. The 12U team put on a commendable performance, playing close games throughout the weekend. They started off elimination play with a solid victory over RI Crush before facing a tough loss to a very strong Marshfield team, who eventually went on to win the tournament. Coach Tom had the privilege of coaching this amazing 12U team on Friday afternoon, and it was a fantastic experience to witness the progress they've made from their first practices to the field.
The 10U team faced a different set of challenges with fields and time constraints, but they fought through their competition and secured a spot in the semifinals. Unfortunately, they ran out of daylight, but they'll have a chance to finish their journey in the championship game this Saturday night. Let's all rally behind our 10U team and wish them the best of luck in bringing home one more title!
☀️ 14U NE Fusion Summer Finale ☀️
The 14U team traveled to Londonderry, NH, for the NE Fusion Summer Finale, where they competed among 29 teams. Despite facing adversity due to some late-season injuries, they showed remarkable resilience. They managed to win their first game on Sunday in an intense 8-inning match before being narrowly defeated by the Voodoo Rosecan team in another thrilling 8-inning game.
🏆 18U Gold at New England's Finest 🎓
Finally, our 18U team concluded a busy week of softball at NE Finest against some tough competition, and it was a special occasion as we celebrated our seniors, Sarah Cullen and Ava Lanza. There were many college coaches watching the KP Pride Gold team throughout the weekend which is a testament to the brand that this team has built.
💚 Special Thanks 💚
We would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the coaches who have been instrumental in shaping our players' skills and character along with volunteering countless hours to prepare the teams for competition. Thank you to our coaches (10U) Christina Allen and Jon Duclos; (12U) Mia Bennett, Libby Curran, and Emma Sheehan; (14U) Erinne Barrows and Greg Curran; (18U Gold) Chuck, Bill, and Adam for your unwavering support and dedication to the program. Thank you to all those that stepped in to assist when and where needed. Your commitment to the players' development has been invaluable.
🥎 Season Recap 🥎
The overall record for the KP Pride program was 90-49-3 and although we don't measure success in wins, the hard work the players put in throughout the year resulted in victories at the tournaments. There were many great victories along the way with some of the team bringing home more hardware for the already full cases.
😎 Rest and Tryouts 🗓️
As we reflect on the challenges and opportunities that each season brings, we want to thank every member of our community for your continuous support. Your encouragement and commitment to getting the players to practice and games make all the difference in their growth and success.
Now, it's time for some well-deserved rest for our players, coaches, and families. Let's regroup and look forward to seeing all of you at the upcoming tryouts. Let's continue to spread the word about the program, as the response to our tryouts has been outstanding!
🌟🎉 Finally, a very special thank you to Chuck, Bill, and Adam for leading this program with passion and expertise!
Go KP Pride! 💪
