What an exhilarating weekend it was for our KP Pride teams! Our young warriors of the 10U team took on some tough competition at the Bash on the Beach tournament. They fought hard, making it through the first playoff round game before going up against the always formidable Rip City USA team. It was no easy feat, considering three of their opponents reached the final four, and two even made it to the finals. They faced a tough schedule, but our 10U team handled themselves with grace and tenacity. Great job, girls! 💪
Our 14U team traveled to the 14U All-American tournament in Lowell, which is known for its challenging teams. Just like the previous week, our girls showcased their talent and determination, making it all the way to the FINALS! They played an incredibly close matchup against the NE Fury Platinum team, with a final score of 7-6. Playing five games in a single day, enduring the heat and humidity, demonstrated their remarkable perseverance. They even sprinted on and off the field in the last game, as all our KP Pride teams should always do. 😉 Congratulations to our 14U team on a fantastic performance!
Both the 10U and 14U teams can now enjoy a well-deserved weekend off from tournaments to rest and recharge.
Meanwhile, the 18U Gold team continued their winning ways, sweeping all five games of the weekend. They secured crucial victories against tough opponents, outscoring them 30-7. What's even more exciting is the attention they garnered from college coaches present at the tournament. The team showcased their exceptional skills. They'll be gearing up for another challenging weekend at the Northern Exposure College Showcase in Connecticut, starting this Friday afternoon. Keep it rolling!
After a week off, our 12U team will be back in action at the Diamond Duel Tourney in Warwick, RI. They have three pool games scheduled for Saturday. We wish them the best of luck and hope they bring their A-game. 🎉🥎
